New Partnership: Matic + European Forensic Institute
Matic S.A. is launching a partnership with the European Forensic Institute (EFI) in Malta – an accredited higher education institution specializing in forensic and investigative sciences.
At the heart of this collaboration is Financial Trail, our proprietary financial data analysis software designed for economic and criminal investigations. The tool is currently utilized by crime analysts within law enforcement and investigative institutions.
Together with EFI, we will focus on:
· Conducting research projects to further develop Financial Trail.
· Developing new methodologies for financial data analysis.
· Supporting the education of the next generation of analysts.
The first joint initiative took place earlier this month. Piotr Gocał, Product Owner of Financial Trail, lead a “Meet the Experts” session for EFI students and the community, focusing on the technical challenges of analyzing massive volumes of transactional data (link to the recording).
We established our cooperation with EFI during a conference organized by the Institute in partnership with the European Association of Crime Analysts (EACA), which took place last November in the charming city of Treviso, Italy.
