Security forces that operate in cities with tall and dense architecture know all too well how difficult it can be to ensure security and high stream quality of wireless audio, video and data communications required between field operation groups, the command centre and the analytical support teams. In addition, some operational scenarios involve the use of (CCD or IR) cameras installed in the field, on vehicles or UAVs.


In response to the demand for the products that meet those requirements, Matic has introduced MIMO radio transceivers from SILVUS into its offering. MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) radio with multiple antennas on the receiver and on the transmitter end. All MIMO radios operate in mesh networks. Depending on the needs, they feature AES 128 or 256 encryption modules.
